How can I pay for camping when I arrive?
Our campground is cash and e-transfer only, if you prefer to prepay upon your arrival please let us know. Also note that your 20% deposit is required at the time of booking via e-transfer to pclilburn@gmail.com.
Can I bring pets?
At Route Six Campground, we welcome pets. However, we do ask that you are respectful of other campers and keep your pets on a leash and under control at all times. Additionally, we ask that you please pick up after your pet, to help keep our campground clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Can I run my A/C, microwave & TV with your hook ups?
Our 15-20amp electrical service offers everything you need, while still maintaining a rustic camping atmosphere. We kindly ask that you use caution when using electricity, so as to not blow the breakers by using everything at once. Contact one of our owners for more support on this if needed.
What time should I be checking out?
We currently do not have a set check out time, as we believe in giving our guests the flexibility to enjoy their stay on their own terms. However, we do ask that you be courteous to others arriving and keep check out times within reason. Our serene campground is the perfect backdrop for relaxation, adventure, and quality time with your family and friends. Let's keep it that way!
Can we have friends visit our campsite?
If you are planning to have daily visitors at your campsite, please notify us first. Be aware that we may not always be able to accommodate parking and bathroom facilities, unless they are registered customers. We kindly request that all visitors please be respectful. We look forward to providing you with a memorable and enjoyable time!
Is there a lake or river at your campsite?
Although we don’t have any lakes on site, there are numerous spots within a 10-minute drive where you can fish, swim or just admire the beauty of nature. Our setup is packed with everything needed for a cozy stay, from comfortable and clean RV sites to tent areas with a serene view of the woods including hot showers.
Where is the closest place to get food and drinking water?
There are 3 stores within a 5-10 minute drive. Here you can purchase basic groceries, take out, snacks, drinking water, gas and more. We recommend brining your own drinking water and being prepared ahead of time. Canco Gas Station, Cherryville Golf Course and Franks General Store.
Do you have a noise curfew?
We ask that our guests are respectful towards their fellow campers and party within reason. Whether you’re camping in a tent, RV or under the stars, we want you to enjoy your stay but know when to hang your hat.
